Purchase Batteries

We now stock a selection of batteries to suit all types of mobility scooter and power chair.

You can purchase for collection from our warehouse at Portobello or with delivery to your door (certain postcodes only). For an additional fee we can even install the batteries in your scooter/chair and dispose of your old batteries.

Batteries have different operating capacities. The battery will usually have two numbers on it. The first relates to the voltage and it will almost certainly be 12v. The second number relates to the capacity of the battery or the energy stored within it and is defined in amp hours or Ah. The higher the number the more powerful the battery and the longer it will last before needing re-charged. The more powerful batteries tend to be larger in size so you have to make sure you order a battery that will actually fit into your device.
