This ultra light-weight aluminum chair can be pushed by an attendant or self propelled by the user. It has height adjustable swing away foot rests and quick release brakes. It collapses in seconds for easy transportation in a boot or luggage area.

A wheelchair can be hard going around Edinburgh for a full day.  Consider a scooter if you are planning on a full day sightseeing, assuming the rider is capable of controlling one.  It will be easier on the traveling party, especially if the user has some mobility but just can't walk long distances.  It affords the rider much more freedom and a much more fulfilling visit.
